ANIMAL BIRTHDAY PARTY
My recent fun DIY was for my sons animal themed birthday bash. I made an XXL back drop for our wall (the giraffe is 2,60m tall) and a home made birthday cake with party animals.
A little while ago I made some stamps with my 12 year old niece. We used very simple erasers from a Dutch warehouse. Great fun!
When my first son was born I made hime a little curtain hugger. Had to make another one with some left over materials when I was pregnant with my second little boy. Love the way they look together.
A WOODEN TRUCK LAMP
After I had seen a truck turned into a lamp on Pinterest the idea hasn't left my mind. So seeing this wooden truck at a market made me have to buy it. Bought some cute electrical cord and accessories and started building. Tadaaaa: a wooden truck lamp.
EMBROIDERY FOR BABY SHEET
I love doing embroidery as it is very calming and I love to try out all the different stitches that you can do. I have a thrifted book with clear explanations so I have been able to teach myself how to do it. Luckily my mom still had a large bag of threads and I only had to buy a few extra ones. This is a baby sheet I have made for my dear friend who will give birth in Singapore soon. My own children also have their own little keep sake sheets.
